[GRASSLIST:2525] (no subject)

Hi
I have exported a spot image from ERDAS imagine to GRASS format. Then I
created a location and mapset in GRASS and copied the files into the mapset.
However, when I try to display the image in GRASS I get the error message: 

can not read range file for [beds in beds]
colour support for [beds] in mapset [beds] missing
color file for [beds] not available

what am I doing wrong?
