[GRASSLIST:3471] Importing e00 files

Hullo Everyone,
I am running Grass5pre2, and have an Arc/Info e00 file which I would like to
import to a lat/lon location/mapset.
I was under the impression that there was an import tool to do this but when
I looked it was nowhere to be found. All I found was the v.in.arc tool which
is for the 'ungenerate' format, which I think is different.
Can a kind soul please advise how I should go about importing this data?
