[GRASSLIST:3565] gps xy utm

Hello list,  
  
I need to take some points near to my city for imagery classification process, the maps and information about soils, is in xy system of my city. But I have a gps that work in utm/wgs84 system (Garmin extrex). How can I to insert the points in my grass database?  
  
I can generate a dxf file from gps with the gps software.  
  
How can I transform this points in xy system to other?  Is it correct?
