[GRASSLIST:3061] Showing positions via WWW

For a project i have to solve the following problem:

On a web-page a user can choose a specific point of interest for 
instance with a drop-down-list. It's position is afterwards shown in a 
map surrounded by a drawn circle.

Assume that i have some raster maps in grass and the information of the 
point of interests in postgres-db as sites.

Do you have any suggestions which procedure/programms could solve this 
problem?
Any help is appreciated!
