[GRASSLIST:3093] GRASS 5.1 CVS snapshot available

Hi,

from today onwards GRASS 5.1 CVS snapshots are generated
on a weekly basis:

http://grass.itc.it/grass51/
(and mirror sites)

The snapshot contains the new preliminary 3D vector engine
with DBMS support. Probably we can publish some sample
vector data for playing with the new toy.

What's new:

 - vector library completely rewritten (multilayer, multiformat, 3D, TIN
   support etc.)
 - DBMS drivers (DBF and others)
 
Most work was done by Radim Blazek, congrats to him.

You are kindly invited to try and develop the initial GRASS 5.1.
Please keep in mind that it is highly experimental.
