[GRASSLIST:3107] Some PNG settings don't seem to work

Hello everybody!

I have compiled the source code, since it looks like the 
linux binaries where not compiled with GD>=2, and am now able to get 
TRUECOLOR maps.

But i still can't get 
-GRASS_BACKGROUNDCOLOR   and
-GRASS_TRANSPARENT
to work.

I use Linux RedHat7.2 and KDE2.1.1.

I write you here, since I don't know if that's a bug or my system settings...

Has somebody else encountered that problem? Someone found a solution?
