Hello,
I am trying to import some shapefiles I downloaded from the Geography
Network. They are converted from the Tiger/LINE files. The
shapefiles display perfectly in Mapserver 3.5, but when I try to
import them into Grass 5 pre3 I get the mess shown in the attached
image. (This particular map is supposed to be the county roads in
Floyd County, Virginia.)
I searched the mailing list and found out that v.in.shape was totally
rewritten in pre4, but I thought I remembered successfully importing
some shapefiles a couple of weeks ago. The projection I'm importing
into is lat/lon, datum is nad83, and the ellipsoid is grs80.
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks,
Ben
