[GRASSLIST:3885] Trouble compiling GRASS for cygwin

I try to compile GRASS5 for the cygwin-environment. The trouble is, that I always get the following error-message while running the configure script: "checking for xdrmem_create in -lrpclib... no \n configure: error: *** Unable to locate XDR functions."  and something else. so teh file can't be found, but i have no idea, where i could get it. has anyone encountered a similar problem and (most important) found a cure?
