Please also note that RPMs of pre4 are available at 
http://ranger.dnsalias.com/mandrake/mandrake8.2/grass/

pre3 is currently in the cooker, but I am waiting on updating it to pre4 
(or pre5) since I am compiling with gdal support, but waiting for a gdal 
I can put into cooker (with versioned libraries).
