[GRASSLIST:3330] UTM projection parameters for USGS LULC and DEM files

Hi,

does anybody know where one can find the projection parameters
(ellipsoid, datum)
for the UTM coordinate system used by USGS in the DEM (7.5 min, SDTS
format)
and the LULC (1:250'000, CTG format)

The data are from
http://edcftp.cr.usgs.gov/doc/edchome/ndcdb/ndcdb.html,
but i was unable to find at the USGS sites the projections parameter i
need for GRASS.
