[GRASSLIST:5044] vector analysis

Hello all,
 

 
I need to perform some satial analysis in vector files. the vector represent 
linear fatures interpreted from a DEM. I need to know the orientation 
(azimuth) and length os each vector, and, if possible, within regions 
(masks).
 
Is that possible? How?
