Dear Friends,
I am trying to install the Linux version of Grass 5.0. But, I am having a
few problems. I wonder if anyone can help me out - please!

1. After installing, I am not able to start Grass with 'grass5' - Bash
reports it is not a command it recognises.
2. After uninstalling and then trying to re-install the full package, I get
a 'bad interpreter' message in Bash.
3. I would like to be able to use Grass for a new course I have starting
next September with around 65 M.Sc. students attending. I favour Grass over
other GIS despite these initial problems. So, I wonder if anyone has the
time (and patience) to walk me through the installation and initial setup
phase (by email or chat-client)??

Thank you for your time,
Mike
