[GRASSLIST:2026] r.watersheds runs interminably?

I noticed a posting on the list about r.watersheds running interminably 
at the 5th (closing maps) stage. Has this issue been resolved? I am 
wondering whether I should expect my watersheds process to finish or 
not.
