I have the same problem with the console, but with OroborOSX. For 
getting it to work, I need to quit the Tcl/Tk Grass interface (quit 
with the "stop all X monitors" option selected). After relaunching the 
GUI with "tcltkgrass &", the problem doesn't encounter anymore.
