after importing without any problems!!!!
i couldn't do this: d.vect.......... can not display map and continue..
why?please tell me ........why?

They work perfectly. The segmentation fault occured because you didn't
have the shx file in the same directory as the shp file. You need all
three (shp, shx and dbf) in the same directory.
