[GRASSLIST:730] d.siter and labels

Dear grass-community,
from d.siter I get always "no label" as specification to the different 
attributes in a site file, although I edited the header with the row 
"labels| east north cat label1 ...labelN" and s.info gives an apparently 
correct copy of the header line.
Question: Is this a problem of d.siter or of my site-file? (and then: 
How to edit correctly the header?)
