[GRASSLIST:5208] unable to update current region

Hello List,

I use Grass57 on two linux machines.
After copying my whole grassdata folder from one to another linux machine I cannot display, update or change Region settings. I allways get the following error-message:

ERROR: unable to update current region

I have no quick opportunity to try copying again but maybe the reason is that in the mapset/location where the data was coming from it was probably zoomed to a small area that still can be displayed on the destination pc.

Also d.zoom does not work properly. I can use the mouse buttons for the selection of a certain area and the map is redrawn afterwards but the same area as before is redrawn.

Any ideas?
