[GRASSLIST:4725] compile grass57 on cygwin

Hi all,
I installed grass57 on WinNT/cygwin. v.digit always crashes with
"segmentation violation".
So I'd like to compile grass57 myself.
The required Proj.4 installation seems to be finished successfully
(libproj.a and libproj.la in usr/local/lib).
Running the configure script for grass57 exits with the following message:
[....]
checking External PROJ.4 version... 449
checking for location of External PROJ.4 library...
checking for pj_get_def in -lproj... no
configure: error: *** Unable to locate External PROJ.4 library.


config.log says:
[.....]
configure:6571: checking for location of External PROJ.4 library
configure:6596: checking for pj_get_def in -lproj
configure:6613: gcc -o conftest -g -Wall     -Wl,--export-dynamic conftest.c

/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-cygwin/3.3.3/../../../../i686-pc-cygwin/bin/ld:
cannot find -lproj
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status


Could anybody give an advice? After days of trying I'm near to despairing...
