Upon closer inspection, I found that OpenModeller can be compiled as a plugin 
for qgis. This makes my previous mail rather useless, but the program more 
interesting.

Hi all.
I came across an interesting piece of softwre, called OpenModeller, supposed
to help predict species distribution (fundamental niche). It is at:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/openmodeller
It is GPL, uses proj, and the authors would be interested in making it usable
together with (from within?) grass. Anybody willing to cooperate?
