see the INSTALL file which comes with PROJ4.
you need to ask on the PROJ users' list with specific problems for help.

that means "don't sue us if you get lost, crash, die, ...". The software
is suitable as an "aid to navigation" only, the authors will not
endorse it as a primary means of navigation. "This program is

WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY or
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE." --The GPL

Maybe easier to export data FROM grass to a common format which the
other software can read. Many are supported.
