Yes, Grass is definitely NOT ARC/INFO. This is much better :) - clearer, well-though, that's it!

yes, g.region affects all operations, and not only on the source - logical :) !!!

However, I started to read the tutorial - half read already - so I'll finish lamer questions soon :)
