[GRASSLIST:7517] i.vpoints problems

Hy all,
I'm a new GRASS user.
I'm trying to rectify a raster with i.vpoints (based on a vector road map) but something get wrong.
It appears a warning message :"WARNING: unable to open raster map.....click mouse to continue" and it stops.
Any idea?
