[GRASSLIST:7610] v.overlay bug

Hi everyone,

just noticed a particularly nasty bug in v.overlay 6.0 and 6.1-cvs (couple 
weeks old) :

ainput: precipitation area map with precip values associated with centroids

binput rectangle created from v.in.region

operator=and

the resulting map is clipped to the extent of the vector defined in 'binput', 
however all of the precipitation values in the final map are completely 
different from the initial values!


any ideas?
