So, I just treid to remove my compiled 6.1 and try with the
precompiled binaries) just to see if it works, I need to compile to
get access to 2Gb files), but.. same erros.

So I decided to try 6.0, but in the binaries section, I couldn't find
the good old tar.gz file and sh install script. Why? I must say I
didn't like it. I don't use Debian, Fedora, Suse, Mandrake... whata
about the other users with Slackware (like me), Gentoo, or any other
Linux distro that doesn't follow the rpm structure? I know that there
are ways to convert packages formats, but I never get good results
with them..

I just feel I have to say it....

Carlos

PS. I still have problems with GRASS 6.1 in my Slack 10.1, will keep trying...
