[GRASSLIST:6871] Remove raster overlaps

Iv just imported and georeferenced some pieces of a map. I now need to 
remove the overlaps and obtain a single raster file, is there anybody 
that can say me how to do that? Have i to use r.mapcalc or is there a 
specific command?
