Hi everyone,
Lately I have needed to use the r.out.gdal command to export some GRASS
rasters to ArcGIS (yes i know...).
The raster files are FCELL ranging from 0.3 - 0.7.
I am not quite sure which 'type' would therefore be appropriate when running
r.out.gdal.
I have tried the obvious 'Float32', but the resulting Geotiff file has a data
range of "nan" to "nan" as reported by QGIS...
gdalinfo also fails to report minimum and maximum valuesin the exported
geotiff... however it does return something that looks like the actual data
vales in the "Metadata":
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Band 1 Block=580x3 Type=Float32, ColorInterp=Gray
NoData Value=nan
Metadata:
COLOR_TABLE_RULES_COUNT=5
COLOR_TABLE_RULE_RGB_0=3.388326e-01 4.277979e-01 0 191 191 0 255 0
COLOR_TABLE_RULE_RGB_1=4.277979e-01 5.167632e-01 0 255 0 255 255 0
COLOR_TABLE_RULE_RGB_2=5.167632e-01 6.057284e-01 255 255 0 255 127 0
COLOR_TABLE_RULE_RGB_3=6.057284e-01 6.946937e-01 255 127 0 191 127 63
COLOR_TABLE_RULE_RGB_4=6.946937e-01 7.836590e-01 191 127 63 20 20 20
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is there any way to export an FCELL raster to a GeoTiff without loosing this
information?
thanks!
