[GRASSLIST:8980] pj_do_proj

I am update a GRASS 5.x module that has calls to pj_do_proj in the
source code to change lat/lon coords to UTM.  I cannot find any sort of
"do projection" call in the GRASS programmer manuals (I have checked the
vector, gis, 3d and dbmi manuals so far).

Can someone point me in the right direction as to what the new calls
would be?
