[GRASS-user] GRASS through the eyes of ARC user

Please examine the conclusion arrived at by an Indian
Department involved in GIS.

"ArcInfo/ArcGIS, a vector based GIS, has evolved since
early 1980s and has many more functionalities than the
vector module of GRASS. The Visualisation and map
layout are much better, which is lacking in GRASS. The
Enterprise GIS is mainly vector based and GRASS cannot
be immediate substitute"

Is GRASS really lacking when it comes to Enterprise
GIS
