[GRASS-user] NVIS

I have a shape file that I have imported in and I am trying to display the shape file into NVIZ to display points but it is taking a long time to display.  Currently, I am using the cgi GRASS 6.1.    
and I waited thirty minutes for a display.  I was wondering if NSIV is working properly for GRASS 6.1 or how long it take to load a file?
