[GRASSLIST:9885] updates to gism2

While trying to make some screenshots, I ran into some bugs in the legend
and in zooming, resizing, and zooming back. These caused unpredictable
behavior with switching layer trees when you click on different displays.

I think I¹ve fixed them. I posted updates to the cvs and reposted gism to my
website. 

The relevant files are mapcanvas.tcl and legend.tcl.
