[GRASSLIST:9923] using v.buffer: how can I add attributes to a buffer theme?

Hello list,
I created a polygontheme using v.buffer. In the next step, I wanted to add 
some attributes to the buffer-theme, but I realized that there was *no 
attribute table attached* to it (however, when I load this theme into qgis >> 
table view, I can see two lines: id and cat with both values being "1"). 
Sqlite3 is used as the database.
Is there an easy way to create an attribute table for the buffer-theme?
