[GRASSLIST:10000] RE: bug fixes and updates to gism2

Thanks, for these updates, Michael, I think they are a great improvement.

The open and save workspace dialogs crash and give errors. I've attached the
log files. If this has already been noted, my apologies. Can anyone else 
reproduce these errors?

I'm using gis.m version 20060123, along with Grass 6.1 cvs binary snapshot
from Jan 21st.
