[GRASS-user] advantageous of GRASS-postgresql-Postgis ?

hello


if anyone uses grass with postgresql-"Postgis", I want to know
what the benefits of it are over conventional grass-postgresql (or 
raster) combination?
what can I do more with grass-postgresql-Postgis,which I cannot with  
grass-postgresql (or raster) work?
