[GRASS-user] problem with r.out.gdal on Tiger

Hello,
  I am getting the following error when running
r.out.gdal command:

   r.out.gdal input=image1 output=test type=Byte
ERROR: Required GRASS plugin for GDAL is missing.
       GDAL must be built with GRASS support to use
r.out.gdal.

How to build GDAL with GRASS support in Tiger? I used
binaries during installation. Thanks.
