[GRASSLIST:159] 3d vector files in nviz

Hi guys!
I just created a new line vector file with a column in the tab called 
ELEVATION. I wanna display it in nviz over my them; i do this:
1) Convert to rast using elevation as value
2) Re-convert to vect, enabling the creation of z values (only points)
Are there some easy way?
