Hi guys!
To extract some features from a raster map, i used the procedure i.gensigset +
i.smap described on Markus book...
I did this:
1)Grouped the RGB files and created a subgroup with the same name.
2)With v.digit created a vector area over the feature i wanna to extract and
converted to raster with v.to.rast:
[r.info]
Type of Map: raster Number of Categories: 0
Data Type: CELL
Rows: 2041
Columns: 2429
Total Cells: 4957589
Projection: Transverse Mercator (zone 0)
N: 4797638.330373 S: 4791539.0053286 Res: 2.98840032
E: 2310585.86145648 W: 2303337.69094139 Res: 2.98401421
Range of data: min = 1 max = 1
Data Source:
Vector Map: grano at Luca in mapset Luca
Original Scale from Vector Map: 1:1
Data Description:
generated by v.to.rast
Comments:
v.to.rast input="grano at Luca" output="grano" use="val" layer=1 value=\
1 rows=4096
3) Run i.gensigset and created the signature files
4) Run i.smap using the same group/subgroup and the signature just created
Type of Map: raster Number of Categories: 1
Data Type: CELL
Rows: 2041
Columns: 2429
Total Cells: 4957589
Projection: Transverse Mercator (zone 0)
N: 4797638.330373 S: 4791539.0053286 Res: 2.98840032
E: 2310585.86145648 W: 2303337.69094139 Res: 2.98401421
Range of data: min = 1 max = 1
Data Source:
Group/subgroup: 300090nuovo/300090nuovo
Sigset file: grano_sign
Data Description:
generated by i.smap
The file just created is a square purple, that covers all the region!
What i am missing?
P.S. the procedure with i.class, works fine...
