I have just compiled Grass 6.1.0 on my Gentoo box using an ebuild.
When attempting to start grass I get the fiollowing errors;
$ grass61 -text
Cleaning up temporary files.....
Starting GRASS ...
/usr/grass-6.1.0/etc/Init.sh: line 467: /usr/grass-6.1.0/etc/set_data: No
such file or directory
$
The set_data directory doesn't exist (as per the error message). Why does
this directory not exist?
How do I create this directory & the files in it?
If I start grass using -gui it works fine.
I previously had grass 6.0.1 installed and it worked fine in either mode.
Thanks in advance.
Craig
