What I said was:

Within North America, the situation is the other way around; finding
paper, printers etc for the ISO paper sizes is almost as hard as
finding Letter-size equivalents elsewhere.

Suffice to say, most Americans won't have ready access to a printer
which can print a full A4 page.

The logical thing to do would be to format the document to fit on both
A4 and Letter paper.
