[GRASS-user] How can I open .map extension file using GRASS or any other OS GIS software

Hi,

I had been using Manifold, and have a store of .map extension files. Now I
am planning to shift to OS. But I am finding it difficult to open these
files directly. I have tried GRASS and UDIG. Any suggestions?
