[GRASS-user] grassaddon compilation failure!

Assembler messages:
Fatal error: can't create OBJ.i686-pc-linux-gnu/elswaify85.o: No such file
or directory
make[1]: *** [OBJ.i686-pc-linux-gnu/elswaify85.o] Error 1

I get this when I try to compile (with "make
MODULE_TOPDIR=/usr/local/grass-6.3.0RC1/") for example i.pr (grassaddon)
under Ubuntu Gutsy with GRASS6.3 compiled , installed and running properly.

Any ideas?
