[GRASS-user] problem regarding the display of map

Hi!
Thanks For ur support .
I will Try it.
I have Taken a sample Code from
http://trac.osgeo.org/grass/browser/grass/trunk/doc/raster/r.example
after compilation of this code ..after making setting in the Make file,
I am getting the Error

ERROR: MAPSET PERMANENT - permission denied
why this error is showing.
it create a directory "OBJ.i686-pc-linux-gnu".containg main.o
HOW COULD I GET THE EXE.
