If you want to you can work around it currently by deleting the -c from 
line 1366 in $GISBASE/etc/gm/georect.tcl.

But I imagine that Michael had a good reason to put it there...

Or just use the georectify tool to set the points (set points, save and 
the exit) and then launch i.rectify directly (but you will have to 
launch it from your XY-location, after setting i.target)...
