[GRASS-user] populate a table with values from another one

Hi all,

someone knows why this statement doesn't work?

echo "UPDATE grenzen gr SET gr.cleft=(SELECT adm.NAME FROM myadm0 amd WHERE
gr.left= adm.cat)" | db.execute

I try to populate the 'cleft'-column of 'grenzen'-table with the values from
the 'NAME'-column of 'myadm0'-table.
