[GRASS-user] Problem with v.rast.stats

I'm doing:

g.region vect=fire2003
r.to.vect --o in=ASP_SLP out=ASP_SLP feature=area
v.rast.stats vector=ASP_SLP raster=NDVI2003 colprefix=ASP_SLP

GRASS_INFO_WARNING(16846,1): This module has been replaced by r.category
GRASS_INFO_END(16846,1)

and get stuck there.

The raster version works fine:
r.stats -c in=ASP_SLP,SP2003.3 > delme.txt

Actually, why not letting several raster layers to be analyzed in 
v.rast.stats as in r.stats?
