[GRASS-user] g.region error

Hi all,
I updated my ubuntu to 9.10 Karmik.
Launching grass (6.4 rc5-2) it returns this error message on terminal:
 "ERROR: MAPSET PERMANENT - permission denied".
and an error (after tcltk gui has started) about g.region.

Can anyone help-me?
