FWIW, I've cleaned up the existing v.generalize html page by rewriting parts where I thought the meaning could be explained better, as well as spelling corrections and other misc. formatting in trunk, devbr6, and relbr64 (r35984, r35985 and r35986).

I'm not familiar at all with the functionality of the module, so examples will take a bit longer to work up.
