Yes, please try those (sorry, Gianluca, haven't had time for this lately).

But if you are looking for "simple" MCA, i.e. just a weighted 
combination of criteria, r.mapcalc can be very useful. A colleague of 
mine has used that for introductory teaching for students. I can send 
you his exercice instructions (in French) if you are interested (or 
he'll do it himself if he's listening).
