FYI,

fist Warning(s) encountered while importing GDEM tiles (one warning for
each .tif file) using r.in.gdal:

Warning 1: TIFFReadDirectoryCheckOrder:Invalid TIFF directory; tags are
not sorted in ascending order

Hopefully it is nothing important,
