[GRASS-user] NVIZperspective

Hello All,
I'm trying to do some simulation of view in NVIZ and I have to look an
object at a fix distance from a fix point.. so I usually use the "position"
panel (where I can set coords and elevation of the two points) but sometimes
it happens that when you obtain this view you see some white space under
your "feet" so I tried to avoid this modifying the perspective parameter
(slide in the main panel).
Doing this I noted that if I modify the perspective parameter the distance
of observation changes; what does this angle represent? who can explain me
its specific meaning? and why if I increase/diminish it the observed object
goes/comes far/near?

Thank you in advance.

Annalisa
