I have a location in the current projection:

code:
r.prog -p

result:
-PROJ_INFO-------------------------------------------------
name : Lambert Conformal Conic
proj : lcc
datum : nad83
ellps : grs80
lat_1 : 36.16666666666666
lat_2 : 34.33333333333334
lat_0 : 33.75
lon_0 : -79
x_0 : 609601.2192024384
y_0 : 0
no_defs : defined
towgs84 : 0.000,0.000,0.000
-PROJ_UNITS------------------------------------------------
unit : US survey foot
units : US survey feet
meters : 0.3048006096012192

This is NC State Plane 3200 FIPS (ft)

I am going to be importing bare ground xyz LIDAR tiles to interpolate
with surf.idw. I would like the finished product to be a 1m
resolution DEM. Do I set the resolution in m (1) or ft (3.280833)?
Thanks you for all of your help.
